“GLÓR” / “VOICE”

Welcome to our exhibition “GLÓR” / “VOICE”. This is the 7^th Annual Exhibition of works from the students of Cara Art Studio. The show this year is aptly titled in expressing the aims of these artists and the studio: to have an artistic voice in the community of Woodlawn. Did you know we had such talent in our locality?

Here in this show you will find self-portraits, landscapes, still life, abstracts and realism. You will see works made in pencil, charcoal, chalk pastel, watercolor, acrylic and oils. Also this year we are presenting our hand-built ceramic works for the first time; mythical masks and handmade vases are among a small selection of the works produced in the past year at the studio. Both the young, teenage and adult artists make the works here from the studio’s variety of programs. Everyone has a voice in this show – in whatever way they have expressed their skills they are calling to you to look, to share and enjoy what they have produced.
