"My name is Stephanie Tierney. I have attended art classes with Regina for about 5 years. What I loved so much about these classes is the variety of skills you can pick up each semester. I was able to explore a wide variety of art types and styles while attending these classes and they also helped me realize that I wanted to pursue a career in art. Classes for children are based on observation drawing as a core value. Teaching children how to observe, interpret and draw what they see as a beginning lesson helps them to understand line, form, proportion, texture and tone. These basics allow them to move on into studies in chalk pastel, watercolors, acrylic paints, silk painting and sculpture. We look at many artists and their works, taking cues from them as we explore landscape, portraits, seascapes, still life, flora and fauna. Enjoy our gallery!
